SCHOLARSHIP Oportunities
Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems (UAMPS) currently offers three scholarship opportunities for high school students to support their education and encourage future careers in the energy sector. These scholarships are designed to recognize outstanding students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and an interest in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) or energy-related studies.
Each scholarship has specific eligibility criteria, application requirements, and award amounts. These opportunities provide financial assistance to students pursuing higher education while fostering awareness of the importance of public power and sustainable energy solutions. High school students interested in applying are encouraged to review the scholarship details and submit their applications before the designated deadlines.
The ICUA Youth Rally is a week-long leadership camp and scholarship program held at the College of Idaho. The Rally is for local SOPHOMORES and JUNIORS from all over the Intermountain West to learn about consumer-owned utilities, teamwork, and leadership. There are fun camp activities throughout the week, along with a trip to the Idaho Capitol Building and the Idaho Waterpark!
