Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems (UAMPS) is a political subdivision of the State of Utah that provides comprehensive wholesale electric-energy, transmission, and other energy services, on a nonprofit basis, to community-owned power systems throughout the Intermountain West.
UAMPS is a full-service interlocal agency. It provides comprehensive wholesale electric energy services on a non-profit basis to community-owned power systems throughout the Intermountain West, with a membership of 50 members across 7 states.
Services span the full lifecycle of energy supply: planning, financing, developing, acquiring, constructing, operating, and maintaining generation and transmission projects for the benefit of members.
